Join Landere Naisbitt, Blue Hill Heritage Trust’s Outreach Coordinator for a late Winter Tree ID workshop! Did you know that some tree buds look like bird heads and others look like crowns? Come discover the beautiful world of winter buds! We will look at a variety of tree and shrub species in East Blue Hill and learn to identify them using subtle characteristics such as smell, bud shape, and habitat. We will also have fun making staghorn sumac beads from sumac branches. Wear weather appropriate clothing and be prepared to do a craft outdoors on the front lawn of the East Blue Hill Library.
Please register by emailing Katherine at eastbluehilllibrary@gmail.com. Plan to meet at the library lawn at 3 p.m.
