Jonathan Lethem is an essayist and the author of thirteen novels, including Motherless Brooklyn, The Fortress of Solitude, and Brooklyn Crime Novel. His stories and essays have been published in The New Yorker, Harper's, Rolling Stone, and many other magazines and anthologies, and his writings have gained him a National Book Critic's Circle Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, a World Fantasy Award, and a 2005 MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship. His forthcoming book, out this September, is A Different Kind of Tension: New and Selected Stories.
Jonathan divides his time between Los Angeles where he teaches writing at Pomona College and his home in East Blue Hill. He will be talking with crime novelist Greg Wands who has been coming here most of his adult life visiting his father, the late Richard Wands.
Greg Wands is the internationally bestselling co-author, along with Elizabeth Keenan, of three thriller novels under the pen name E.G. Scott, the first of which (The Woman Inside) was optioned for television. Their books have been translated into a dozen languages and their latest title, Trust Issues, is now available in the East Blue HiIl Library. He is currently at work on a solo novel.
